Therapy using acoustic waves AWT (Storz médical) is a new method to supplement or replace the Cellu M6.
* AWT or "acoustic wave therapy" is a treatment based on acoustic waves that are used on the skin. They have been regularly used to treat kidney stones and entheses in orthopaedics (EWST).
The distribution of acoustic waves on "cellulite" temporarily improves the permeability of the fat cells, which will stimulate enzymes that separate fats (lipases).
The aim of the therapy is to improve blood flow (hyperemia) in all tissue layers and increase the forming of new connective tissue in order to considerably reduce cellulite and enhance the appearance of the skin.
This procedure is completely harmless. It is recommended to carry out 1 session per week, over a period of 8 to 10 weeks.
