Cellulite/Silhouette
Cellulite/Silhouette
Cellulite treatment and body shaping Cellulite, called "panniculosis" in 1904, is a progressive female condition that affects 90% of women aged between 30 and 54 in France. Cellulite has a significant aesthetic and psychological impact. Women who are significantly affected very often suffer from the appearance of their legs and, as a result, a deterioration in their quality of life.
The dimpled appearance (orange peel skin) of cellulite results from abnormalities in the cutaneous and subcutaneous connective tissue. Typically female, it results from both fat storage in adipocytes (fat cells in the hypodermis) and surrounding water retention (dermis and hypodermis). As the adipocytes increase in size, the envelopes containing them become deformed and pull on their skin anchors, resulting in dimpling of the skin.
At this stage, the major problem is that the process is self-perpetuating because blood circulation is stifled, leading to stagnation of metabolic waste, nutrient depletion and congestion of the connective gel, which loses its elasticity and becomes fibrotic. This unsightly state means that these cellulite-prone areas remain unaffected by physical exercise and the most draconian slimming regimes.
Validated by more than 85 scientific studies, endermology is a totally non-invasive and essential method for treating cellulite and the silhouette.
This technique is carried out using a high-tech device called the "Cellu M6", which takes hold of the folds of skin, rolling them up and down to remove the vascular blockages. This cutaneous gymnastics helps to restructure the connective tissue and stimulates blood and lymph circulation, to encourage the elimination of metabolic waste.
Endermology therefore makes it possible to considerably reduce the appearance of cellulite, refine the figure and restore the natural processes of nutrition and drainage of fatty tissue.
We recommend 1 to 2 sessions a week for 6 to 8 weeks.
